Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants 2025 named 19 B.C. restaurants to its prestigious 2025 award list. Once again, British Columbia shines brightly on the national stage’s culinary scene. With 15 exceptional restaurants from Vancouver, two in Richmond, one in Whistler, and one in Ucluelet making the cut, B.C. continues to lead Canada’s culinary evolution with bold flavours, creative execution, and uncompromising hospitality.

Several restaurants are also Michelin-starred or have received MICHELIN awards. This crossover is a strong signal for food lovers that B.C. is home to some of the country’s most extraordinary dining experiences.

Behind the List

This year’s list was the most comprehensive yet, compiled from the ballots of 160 respected judges from across Canada—chefs, critics, restaurateurs, and culinary enthusiasts. The list reflects authentic dining experiences from the past year. Each judge ranks their top 10, taking into account food quality, service, wine programs, and atmosphere. Broad support gets a restaurant into the top 100; only passionate, high-ranking endorsements secure a spot in the top 10.
