Stunning Horseshoe Bend is one of the most photographed locations of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Arizona. Find out more about Horseshoe Bend.
In 2018, a fenced overlook was built to look down 1,000 feet to the Colorado River below.
Visitors can still venture off the trail created in 2019, but use extreme caution. Sandstone edges are fragile and can easily break. Always watch children.
