7. Kangaroo Creek Farm Kelowna

I can’t recommend Kangaroo Creek Farm enough. Where else can you relax with Roos, hang with sugar gliders, chat with Macaws, and race tortoises?

The farm is much improved from the last time I visited several years ago. It has a rolling property and fantastic displays. There are push cars and an old fire truck to play on, a concession, and tons of animals to interact with.

We chose to visit on probably the hottest day of the heat dome (brilliant, I know) but managed to still spend hours there. As a bonus, kids 4 and under are free, so visiting with little ones is more affordable.

Did you know kangaroos drool on their forearms to keep cool in the heat? I do now! What’s the strangest animal fact you’ve ever learned?
